Update: issues should now be resolved.
As many of you have already noticed, A LOT of anime episodes are currently down. This problem is not limited to just phoanime but is occuring on many other anime sites on the web. The cause is a popular video hosting site taking action to delete and prevent the upload of anime. Currently we are looking over the extent of deleted episodes and will temporarily remove series whose episodes have all been deleted untill replacements are uploaded. So yea, bear with it and we'll do our best to get things running again.

Sure the anime is copyrighted but aren't subbed anime technically free? plus RAW anime episodes get away with it which I don't think I should even mention. But hopefully You guys do overcome this Annoying problem major sites are having!

I wonder how it happened. Was it like the uploading service cut it off and it deleted the episodes? Like if megavideo stops hosting a video or takes it off. Is this similar?>

after spending the the last few hours searching the the internet for alternate video of the anime i like, and after being shot down countless time's i have to ask what is PHOanime doing about this problem. Are you going to reload all of the anime? how long will this problem go unfixed? and last question should i look for different website for my anime?

Does anyone know why the upload site removed the anime? Are they making space or is someone cracking down on them about it? Licencing issues maybe? After all if its a legal issue what happens on one could happen on the other uploading sites. NEED MORE INFO PLEASE thanks in advance for replies

It's myspace blocking video embeds to certain regions, it's messing up JWplayer vids. Pho team feel free to speak up if there is more to it then that.

I often see, 'This a free fan sub. If you bought this you got owned' or some such thing on subbed anime so if its being deleted. What the #@%&! Damned kill-joys that's what they are. Now I can't watch anime everyday. (Sob, Crying into hands) I don't know what to do!
