SynopsisKyo, an avid swimmer tries his best to keep the high school swimming club going, which is pretty hard when he's the only member. Facing the prospect of the club being closed by the student council, he tries to enlist beautiful Misaki to act in a promo video, shot by his good friend Ryoko, in a bid to start a recruitment drive. She agrees but only if he pilots a mecha under the wing of Celebrum, a resistance organisation fighting to destroy Deutera Areas formed on Earth by the aliens Gards-orm. He agrees but finds it all strangely familiar as if he's done it before...

ReviewIf you liked animes like the Sousei no Aquarion and Noein, etc. then this is the anime for you. It�s in range with any typical mecha animes out there, offering a little different of background of main character, conflict, plot and rather unexpected ending. Rating it from 1 to 10, and 10 being the highest, I'll rate this anime 8.

Characters
Kyo Sogoru
The main protagonist, who discovers the world he lives in is an illusion and must fight to save the real world and protect the people who still live within the illusory world. He is a talented pilot and serves as the Altair Zegapain's Gunner.
Ryoko Kaminagi
Kyo's childhood friend, she is perceptive and is the first of Kyo's friends to "awaken" to the real world with a much easier transition than Kyo. She has been recognized to be a "Witch", a Wizard with an almost telepathic link with the Gunner, and becomes the new Wizard of the Altair.
Shizuno Misaki
She acts as the Wizard of the Altair Zegapain, but later becomes Chris' partner after Arque's death. In truth, she is an artificial Meta-Body who is an inserted quantum fluctuation created by the quantum servers of iAL in an act of rebellion against her father, Naga. The true nature of her existence was unknown, even to herself.
